Jewel in the Crown has released its Goa and Kerala programme for winter 2008/09, six weeks earlier than usual to drive bookings.
Director Steve Keay said each time the operator has released the brochure earlier it has seen a surge in bookings. Keay is hoping to cash in when many customers are still suffering from the winter blues and start turning their minds to some sunshine.
Keay said: “Travel agents have made it clear to us they would like to start selling when the weather is not so clever here and key winter dates are easier to come by.
“It also allows us to steal a march on the competition and get a few bookings in the bag, which allows us to get a good start under our belt.”
Prices lead in at £525 per person for one week’s bed and breakfast accommodation at the Resort Village Royale in Calungate and includes return flights.
