Welsh Thomas Cook agents explain merger benefits to customers

A group of agents in Wales are holding an event to tell customers exactly what they offer following the merger of Thomas Cook and MyTravel last year.

A total of 27 Thomas Cook agencies, some of which are former Going Places branches, have invited more than 3,300 customers to attend the two-day event in Swansea and Cardiff this weekend.

Operators and cruiselines are also supporting the event, including Thomas Cook Signature and Tradewinds.

Thomas Cook Caerphilly acting manager Hayley Marshall, who has helped organise the event said: “Since we have merged, a lot of customers may not realise how big Thomas Cook now is. We want to make people aware of what we have to offer so we decided to invite them to see for themselves.”
