Travel investment company Alpha Prospects this week acquired the Unpackaged Group – which includes accommodation-only specialist Seligo – for an undisclosed sum.
Alpha, valued at just under £3 million, was floated on the Plus Markets stock exchange last month. ABTA director Stephen Freudmann is non-executive chairman and shareholder in the Birmingham-based company.
The Unpackaged Group chief executive Tony Freudmann, brother of Stephen, said: “Alpha has been set up to acquire companies in the travel sector. Alpha is a plc so the advantage is that it can raise money to make further acquisitions.”
