Cruise agents were honoured at Celebrity Cruises’ annual travel agent appreciation awards.
More than 50 of the cruise lines’ trade partners attended the event at the Hospital Club in London on January 12.
Winners of the 11 awards given included Cooperative Travel, ROL Cruise, Oasis Travel and Travel Counsellors.
Senior vice president, sales, trade support and services, Dondra Ritzenthaler said it was important for Celebrity to continue to engage and train UK agents.
“We want to keep the momentum going with our turn of year sales and our work with our agents.
“Our Celebrity Moments campaign is fantastic with 110 potential winners, in all agents not just cruise specialists.
“Our sales team are there to educate agents across the UK so they not only sell our cruises but to the right Celebrity customer.”
The awards were hosted by Ritzenthaler and Jo Rzymowska, vice president and managing director for the UK & Ireland and Asia, with senior vice president of international Gavin Smith.

Winners of the travel agent appreciation included Iglu Cruise as cruise specialist for guests and Trailfinders who won top cruise specialist in terms of growth.
Advantage Travel Partnership were given the top consortia in the UK Award and top home working travel agency award went to Travel Counsellors.
The best performer for suite class went to ROL Cruise, the rising star award was given to Cooperative Travel and Thomas Cook won the award for dedicated targeted marketing.
Guests were also treated to a performance by the Jack Pack and wine tasting hosted by Joe Fattorini from TV’s The Wine Show.
