Wizz Air passenger numbers grew by 22% last month with an improved load factor.
The eastern and central European budget carrier flew more than 1.7 million passengers in February over the same month last year.
Load factor rose by 5.5 percentage points to 91.9% despite a 14.5% increase in capacity to 1.8 million seats.
The improved monthly figures came as the airline announced a new base at Luton airport plus the addition of 12 new route.
February carryings gave the airline a rolling annual total of 23.4 million passengers, up 19% on he same time in 2016.
