Travel Leaders UK has been confirmed as the latest member of business travel organisation the GTMC.

The group, which includes Protravel International, Tzell UK, Scotia Travel and Colletts Travel, has grown to become one of the top 20 travel management companies in the UK.

As a member of the guild, the company will have access to benefits such as attendance at industry networking events, participation in debates across the GTMC’s strategy groups including industry affairs, people and technology, and the opportunity to consult and have views represented to wider industry partners and stakeholders.

GTMC chief executive, Paul Wait, said: “We’re excited to welcome a company as diverse and dynamic as Travel Leaders UK to our growing network.

“We have started 2017 with a number of new industry partners and members and we look forward to another leading Tmc joining our community.

“They have established a leading position both here in the UK and in North America and are a great addition to our growing family.”

Travel Leaders UK president, Gail Grimmett, added: “We not only understand just how vital GTMC’s advocacy role is in representing our industry, but we embrace how essential membership in the organisation is deemed by the greater business travel community.

“While we have enjoyed tremendous growth on our own in a highly specialised segment of travel management services, we believe membership in the GTMC is critical toward achieving our long-term vision and strategy.”
