Wizz Air passenger numbers rose by more than 19% in March as the budget carrier expanded its network.
The central and eastern European airline saw carryings rise to almost two million over March 2016.
The load factor improved by 4.1 percentage points to 90.4%.
The performance resulted in the airline’s rolling annual passenger numbers increasing by 18.9% to 23.7 million.
Wizz Air added ten new routes and expanded the number of airports served to 138 with the introduction of flights to Bordeaux-Mérignac airport.
