Royal Caribbean gives 20 agents chance to attend Clia Cruise Conference

Agents are being given the chance to win places to attend next month’s Clia Cruise Conference in a new Royal Caribbean International competition.

Agent members of the line’s Club Royal loyalty scheme will have a chance of attending by stating by email why they should win a place at the event in Southampton.

Ten additional tickets have been given to key trade partners to give to staff in the lead up to the event.

The 20 agents will receive free entry to the three-day conference including gala dinner, with accommodation at a Southampton hotel.

Royal Caribbean branded kit and food and drink throughout the trip will also be covered, including a welcome dinner on the first evening.

Associate vice president and UK and Ireland managing director, Ben Bouldin, said: “The Clia cruise conference will be an excellent opportunity to hear from some of the world’s leading cruise industry figures and network with people from across the travel industry.

“Helping agents learn more about cruise and our offering is at the heart of our Club Royal programme, which is why we are pleased to be offering a total of 20 agents a VIP place at the event.

“As part of the conference the 20 lucky agents will have the opportunity to visit a number of cruise ships in the port of Southampton, including two of our own, Independence of the Seas and Navigator of the Seas. It’s going to be a lot of fun and educational at the same time.”
