British Airways has increased capacity on its dailyGatwick-Denver flight for the winter by switching to a larger Boeing 747-400 from the B777 used in the summer. The extra seats will accommodate the high traffic generated by skiers to Colorado.

Airtours has signed a seven-year deal with Orlando Sanford Airport to fly charter passengers into Florida. The tour operator was understood to be impressed with the airport’s $300,000 investment in improved facilities for arriving UK customers. They will be opened by December.
