First ice bar at sea to feature on NCL F3 cruise ships

The first ice bar at sea is set to be one of the draws of Norwegian Cruise Line’s two new F3 ships launching in 2010.

NCL is launching a range of nightlife  inspired by the capitals of the world on the new ships – South Beach, Ibiza, the Riviera and Las Vegas – some of which will be adult only.

Other hotspots will include the POSH Beach Club, an exclusive, adults-only destination; Halo the Über Bar, a private bar and lounge in the ‘ship-within-a-ship’ villa complex Spice H20; an adults-only pool deck and Bliss Ultra Lounge, the entertainment complex with four-lane bowling alley.

“There is nothing ordinary about these ships. The F3s are unconventionally extraordinary,” said NCL UK general manager Stephen Park.

“Every experience on board will be unique. F3 won’t have massive void spaces and rooms used just for one activity, these venues have multiple uses for sunbathing, bowling and dining, as well as being party playgrounds,” said Park.
