FOR AN airline that tells us they are still interested in working with travel agents, could Tim Jeans at Ryanair explain our lack of success when trying to contact agents’ reservations.
After trying for most of Tuesday March 7 without success, I then constantly dialled for over 2hrs on Wednesday March 8 with a client in front of me (Ickenham Travel uses the Sabre system). In desperation, I called the Ryanair direct line and was answered within 2mins. This office of Ickenham Travel is based in a hospital where we have a high contingent of Irish medical personnel working on shifts with little time to spare. I have tried calling the agents’ line today March 9 at 8am and out of hours it diverts to Ryanair direct.
