Barclays Private Equity has bought a £73 million stake in travel management company ATP International Group.
The deal saw the private equity company buy a majority share in ATP, which has around 5,000 clients and a turnover of £410 million annually, was announced yesterday.
Barclays Private Equity director John Walker said: “ATP International is a fast growing, dynamic and exciting business which is a leader in its field.
“The global business travel market is large at €400 billion per annum and growing with long term growth estimated at 4% per annum.”
ATP group chief executive Graham Ramsey said: “I am very pleased that Barclays Private Equity has made this investment because it will enable ATP to grow organically and pursue an acquisition strategy.”
