New Frontiers Recruitment acquired by Australian and Asia based firm

UK travel and hospitality recruitment specialist New Frontiers Recruitment has been taken over by Australian and Asia based travel and hospitality recruiter TMS Talent for an undisclosed sum.

New Frontiers, headed by founder Julia Feuell, has been working in the UK travel recruitment sector for more than 24 years.

She also runs the fast growing Online Travel Training company.

“Making the decision to sell the company I established in 1993 has not been easy.” Feuell said.

“As OTT has grown I have had less and less time to focus on New Frontiers and the time has come to hand over the reins.

“The reality is I have been absorbed for the last few years on OTT, which has experienced phenomenal growth and success.

“TMS Talent were looking for a London operation and I thought the match was perfect.

“As travel recruitment is increasingly international, a global branch network will be more and more relevant.”

TMS Talent is headed by managing director John Terry who has driven expansion of the company for three years, inclding growth in Sydney and the opening of offices in Brisbane, Melbourne and Bangkok in the past 12 months.

He said: “The parallels between the two businesses are remarkable.

“TMS Talent and New Frontiers were formed within a year of each other in the mid 1990s and have both been serving the travel and hospitality markets within their own regions for over 20 years.

“The opportunity for us to share knowledge and experiences across the world will not only help to grow our business but also help to serve a number of global companies we currently partner with’.

TMS Talent is backed by Bangkok-based investor Steven Hamblin.

Feuell added:” When I met TMS Talent owners John and Steve, I knew New Frontiers staff, clients and candidates would be in great hands as they have the passion to drive the business forward.”
