Former Croatia Airlines boss Kresimir Kucko as been named chief executive of Gulf Air.
He joins the Bahrain-based carrier as it prepares for fleet renewal with the introduction of 39 new Boeing and Airbus aircraft from early 2018.
“The modern fleet will herald a new era for Gulf Air as it continues to enhance its product and service offering,” a spokesman said.
Chairman Zayed Bin Rashid Alzayani, welcoming Kucko to the airline, said: “He brings with him exceptional industry knowledge that I am confident will add considerable value to our business.”
Kucko replaces Maher Salman Al Musallam, who stepped down in June.
