Sunvil seeks further growth in Cyprus in 2018 after 30% rise in 2017

Tailor-made specialist Sunvil has reported a 30% year-on-year rise in passenger numbers to Cyprus in 2017

The firm said it plans to build on this increase in 2018 when it marks its 48th year of serving the year-round Mediterranean destination.

The 2017 Sunvil figure exceed the Cyprus Tourist Organisation’s recent report of a 14.7% increase in tourists visiting the island this year compared to last.

Sunvil said it has seen an increase in couples and older travellers looking to discover the “hidden delights” of the island.

A seven-night tailor-made spring or autumn touring holiday with the operator starts from £694 per person, including flights, car hire and B&B accommodation

Sunvil said: “Predominantly attracting couples, and travellers of an older demographic, Sunvil’s clients visit the island to find the real Cyprus.

“With great appeal all year round, Cyprus is popular right into the later months of the year, with its long, warm autumn and short, mild winter with vivid blue skies.”
