The shortlist for the Shine Awards – the scheme which recognises the achievements of women in the travel industry – has been revealed.
Judges gathered at the Abu Dhabi Tourism Office in London yesterday to select the finalists for the five categories.
Entrants included travel agents, hoteliers and people working in training and recruitment.
Vertical Group chief executive and Future Travel director Peter Healey said: “There are many women who have made a vital contribution to the travel industry and don’t get the recognition they deserve.
“These women have an inspirational quality and are excellent role models for young women thinking of entering the travel industry”
