Regent Seven Seas Cruises launches training programme on ACE website

Regent Seven Seas Cruises has launched an online training programme on the Association of Cruise Experts website.

The Discover the Regent Experience consists of five modules teaching agents more about the product and the brand, how to identify the best customers and how best to sell Regent cruises to them.

As well as copy and images, the programme contains video footage and a series of questions the agents must answer. Agents can stop and start the training as they wish and on its completion they become Regent Ambassadors, eligible for a quarterly luxury draw.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises UK sales manager Anthony Daniels said: “We are thrilled to be able to offer this facility to travel agents.

“In recent years, the use of on-line as a training tool has grown dramatically and Regent is proud to be able to offer this option to our agents. We are also launching a handy A5 leaflet soon with Regent’s key features, so that agents can keep it by their desks for quick reference.

“We hope these additional selling tools will help agents feel more confident to sell Regent cruises and hence drive sales.”

ACE director Andy Harmer added: “I am delighted Regent Seven Seas Cruises has chosen ACE to support its on-line training.

“The fact that our website now attracts up to 1,000 agents every day is testament to its success in providing agents with the skills and expert knowledge needed to effectively sell cruise.

“The addition of this brand new course means there are now more than 100 on-line ACE training modules covering every aspect of cruising.”
