Travel companies named in Sunday Times league table

On Holiday Group and Holiday Taxis have been named in the Sunday Times Virgin 100 Fast Track league table.

The list ranks Britain’s top one hundred private companies with the fastest growing sales over the last three years. Entrants must also have remained profitable during that period. On Holiday Group came 16th on the list and transfer company Holiday Taxis came in at number 44.

On Holiday Group chief executive Steve Endacott said: “Featuring 16th in the Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 is a testament to the products that On Holiday Group offers the travel sector and the rapidly changing structure of the sector.

“Since On Holiday Group was created in 2004 we have experienced exponential growth in all aspects of our business.  We look forward to continuing our success and taking full advantage of value adding opportunities that may arise.”

Holiday Taxis chief executive Paul Stanyer said: “To achieve a top 100 ranking after only six years of trading is phenomenal and clearly positions Holiday Taxis as the market leader in the independent transfer sector. Clearly this is only achievable with the backing of your customers and I would personally like to thank each of them for their continuing support”.

Other companies on the list included Hotel Chocolat and drinks manfacturer Innocent.
