The funeral of Harry Goodman is due to take place on Tuesday March 20 at Bushey Old Cemetery in Hertfordshire.
The public service will begin at 4pm.
Goodman, who is credited with pioneering the low-cost package holiday model, died of a heart attack last week aged 79 while on holiday in Tenerife.
He founded and ran International Leisure Group (ILG) which became the UK’s second-largest operator behind Thomson Holidays in the 1980s. He saw his empire fail spectacularly in 1991 owing £500 million.
A private reception will take place afterwards. Guests will be told the details of where this will take place at the service.
Goodman’s family has asked for no flowers or donations to be made.
