Brochure directory website Travelwhere has been relaunched following investment from Sunvil Holidays and promises to be a green alternative for travel agents.
The website allows agents and consumers to search for brochures on a map and then read the brochure page by page. The site had its soft launch before Christmas and had about 50 brochures available to view so far.
Agents can also create their own brochures by selecting relevant pages from different brochures and printing them for their customers.
Travelwhere founder Ian Champness said: “This is designed not to let clients take a brochure and leave, but create dialogue with them and give them a personalised service.
“It is a very green option and it avoids agents having stacks of out of date brochures in their shop.”
Sunvil Holidays managing director Noel Josephides, who has invested in the project, added: “Every operator should have this so the trade can show the world it’s doing something tangible to support a greener environment.”
Gazetteers also supplies the industry with unbiased travel data.
