The Globe Travel Awards raised the bar again in 2009, with a record 52,500 votes cast by both travel agents and consumers.
Around 1,200 guests gathered at the Grosvenor House Hotel to see comedian Michael McIntyre present the evening’s 48 awards. Entertainment came from Rose Royce.
