Virgin Hotels has purchased the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas for an undisclosed sum.
The deal, involving a number of partner investors, will see the revamped property come under the Virgin brand in winter 2019.
The hotel will continue operations under the Hard Rock flag until it opens as a Virgin Hotels hotel.
Rooms, restaurants and public spaces will undergo a face lift, expected to cost hundreds of millions of dollars.
The hotel will feature 1,504 rooms and suites Chambers, a 60,000 square foot, casino, multiple swimming pools over five acres, restaurants, lounges and bars, including new nightlife venues.
