More than 200 international travel trade representatives are expected to attend the second Travel Trade Maldives event next month.
TTM takes place in the Maldives from May 1-3, with events including a supplier expo, hotelier summit and a tourism career fair.
Organisers say the event’s main aim is to assist the Maldivian tourism industry reach a target of two million tourists with over $3.5 billion in receipts by the end of 2020.
In addition to international travel trade, TTM will be attended by more than 100 hoteliers, 30 suppliers and 1,000 industry stakeholders, with premium exhibitors including Adaaran Resorts, Bandos Maldives, Crown & Champa Resorts, Villa Hotels and Resorts and Angiri Resorts.
The event is backed by the Maldives Association of Tourism Industry (MATI), Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB), The Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) and Association of Travel Agents (ATA).
