Getabed is expanding its product in Prague and Egypt as UK travellers avoid the Euro zones.
The accommodation only provider, which sells exclusively through the trade, has added 50 new hotels in Prague and accommodation in Luxor, Taba and Hurghada in Egypt.
Getabed has recently relaunched its website with a faster search tool and more user friendly design.
Sales director Mark Hopper said the company will finish the year end to March at 20% up thanks to forward buying and an active sales team.
He has also introduced a more flexible cancellation policy to cater for people concerned about their job security during the recession.
Getabed is one of the few bed banks that continues to act as principal.
“This time last year no-one would go near if you if were not principal, but that has all changed now,” said Hopper. “We have no plans to change our principal status as the agents we speak to still care about it.”
