Andalucia Tourism and the Spanish National Tourist Office have asked the Elite Travel Group to organise a mega-fam trip hosting up to 250 independent travel agents.
Places on the trip to Andalucia will be initially offered to senior staff in Elite agencies before being sent to other commercial partners including both Advantage and other independent agents.
The trip will run from May 6-10 with three hotels needed to accommodate the group while it is hoped that flights will be on offer from both Birmingham and Gatwick.
Elite marketing and events manager Wendy Albutt said: “Once in the destination, there will be a full day conference and networking with Andalucian suppliers. Then the group will split to visit the true Andalucia.”
Andalucia Tourism director of marketing Antonio Martin Machuca added: “The aim is to enable delegates to discover a different side to Spain and to feel first-hand, the diversity and beauty of the area.”
