Martin Rinck has been named by Hilton as global head, luxury and lifestyle group.
He moves to the new role after more than nine years as area president for the group’s Asia Pacific business, delivering a six-fold increase in hotels.
In his new role, Rinck will be responsible for all strategic development, brand innovation and leadership initiatives Waldorf Astoria, Conrad and new Canopy by Hilton lifestyle hotels.
“As the fastest growing portfolio in the world, I am excited to build on the opportunity represented by Hilton’s Luxury and Lifestyle brands,” he said.
“More than half of our global pipeline of luxury properties reside in the Asia Pacific region, and when you consider the iconic legacy and huge potential of our Luxury and Lifestyle portfolio, this is just the beginning.”
