The Stella Group has hit back against Australian newspaper reports regarding the state of its business.
A statement said recent press reports in Australia which claimed receivers may be appointed to look at the Stella Group business carried “serious inaccuracies”.
Stella Travel Services UK managing director Andrew Botterill said: “It is very much business as usual and all of our partners in the UK and overseas can rest assured that Stella is a solid business with a long-term future.
“We have restructured the UK management team to drive forward the integration of our operation and are already reaping the rewards. Sales remain buoyant based on targets for the current economic climate and we are all very confident that we can go from strength to strength.”
