Emerald Waterways will add to its fleet of Star-Ships next year with a new vessel sailing on the Mekong.
The 73-metre Emerald Harmony, the line’s eighth Star-Ship, will operate three itineraries in 2019: Majestic Mekong River Cruise; Treasures & Temples of Vietnam & Cambodia; and Grand Tour of Vietnam & Cambodia, once it is built..
Emerald Harmony’s first sailing is the Grand Tour of Vietnam & Cambodia river cruise and tour, departing on August 20, 2019.
Stop-offs on the Grand Tour of Vietnam & Cambodia river cruise and tour itinerary include Halong Bay, Hoi An and Hue.
Passengers finish the itinerary with three nights in Siem Reap where they will attend the Phare Cambodian Circus and visit Angkor Wat.
Emerald Harmony will be the first ship in the fleet to feature the Lotus Lounge. Located at the front of the Vista deck, it will serve snacks and tea and coffee throughout the day.
Like other Star-Ships, the 84-passenger vessel has four Emerald Staterooms, 32 Panorama Balcony Suites, four Grand Balcony Suites and two Owner’s Suites, each with a wrap-around terrace and hot tub.
Emerald Harmony’s itineraries are on sale now.
Dawn Quinn, head of UK trade sales, said “Emerald Harmony is an exciting and luxurious addition to the Emerald Waterways Star-Ship fleet, setting sail in 2019 with three brand new itineraries.
“We are looking forward to working with our trade partners to promote the newest Star-Ship, which will bring the innovative features and impressive inclusions that the brand offers on board European river cruises to the Mekong.”
