THE THAI, Singapore and Hong Kong tourist offices have agreed to launch a joint marketing campaign in the UK.
The project may involve joint advertising and direct marketing activity and organising educationals together.
Tourism Authority of Thailand marketing manager Chris Lee said: “We have agreed to work together in principle. Stage two is to go to tour operators and ask them how they want us to work together.”
Initial talks are set to take place with Kuoni, Thomas Cook and Travelbag this week. Lee said discussions were likely with other operators.
The move follows the three offices’ decision to share a stand at next month’s World Travel Market for the second year running.
