Shearings unveils revamped Britain and Ireland brochure

Twenty new tours are included in a revamped Britain and Ireland brochure released by Shearings Holidays for 2019.

The new design includes price panels showing monthly ‘from’ rates for each of the transport options available on the tours.

Previously, one overall lead-in price for the season was shown. The price panels also show different rates for the various transport options available on each tour – coach, rail or air – in an effort to help agents to see the flexibility and options available.

Three editions of the brochure have been created covering the north, south and west country.

An online agent toolkit has been updated with new posters, images and window cards.

A newly-created ‘Bay Preferred Hotels’ collection of hand-picked properties is also included.

New tours for next year include a break including a trip on the Jacobite Steam Railway in Scotland, better known as the Hogwarts Express; a tour in the Peak District that stays at England’s oldest hotel; a Cornwall and Poldark tour; a 12-day British Isles discovery cruise and an optional day trip to Guernsey for holidaymakers staying in Bournemouth.

Early-booking discounts of up to £50 per couple apply to bookings made before September 30 for departures between April 1 and October 27, 2019.

Managing director Jane Atkins said: “We have refreshed the look of the brochure as we wanted to make it as easy as possible for agents to navigate through it.

“We have some great new tours available for 2019 and the brochure features an extensive section on event breaks, which are proving really popular with agents as they help make the difficult, easy.

“It is important for agents to remember that early booking will secure the best choices for their customers, be it their preferred seats on the coach or their preferred room type at a hotel. Our events packages also sell out, so early booking will avoid disappointment.”
