Scenic has appointed Riviera’s Joseph Grimley as director of trade sales as Dawn Quinn temporarily leaves the company on a sabbatical.
The line announced Quinn, Scenic UK’s current head of trade sales, will be taking a sabbatical for 12 months for family reasons.
Grimley, currently head of sales at Riviera, joins as director of trade sales across the group portfolio of Scenic River Cruise, Scenic Eclipse, Scenic Land Tours and Emerald Waterways River and Ocean Cruises.
He will have full responsibility for leading a sales team of 10 supporting Scenic Group UK’s agency sales and key agency partners. He joins the company in three months’ time.
Scenic has also appointed Nicky Yates as northern agency sales manager. She joins from Attraction World where she was northern sales manager.
Regit’s Steven Morrow has been appointed digital marketing manager, while Martin Solly has been appointed brand manager for Scenic Eclipse.
Scenic has also made a number of appointments to its commercial team following the promotion of Rachael Shaw to global head of yield and revenue management. Chris Matthews has been appointed commercial manager; Kerry Weldon, commercial analyst; Mohammad Patel, commercial analyst.
