Qatar Airways will codeshare with Lufthansa on the German carrier’s Manchester-Munich services from November 1. The move coincides with Qatar increasing Doha-Munich flights to a thrice-weekly service from twice a week on November 3.

Jersey European Airways is aiming to boost the number ofex-Ireland passengers to the UK with a dedicated booking and information telephone line. The line has been set up as JEA prepares to start Birmingham flights to Shannon on October 31. It recently started double-daily Birmingham-Cork services. The number, 1890 925532, is only available in Ireland.

Emirates is to launch four weekly Sydney flights on March 26. The airline already heavily markets its daily Melbourne service to the UK and will widely publicise the Sydney flight.
