Advantage opens up conference to agents outside consortium

Advantage Travel Centres is opening up its conference to non-consortium members in a bid to showcase itself to new members.

It is offering the agents the chance to attend the 2009 conference, which is being held at the Radisson Edwardian hotel at London’s Heathrow on September 18-20.

The aim is to show potential new members the culture of the organisation and give them a chance to speak to existing members of Advantage.

Advantage Travel Centres chief executive John McEwan said: “In this challenging economic period, it is critically important independent agents get the highest level of support from their chosen consortium.

“However, unless you physically move from one organisation to another, you never really know if you are better off and all consortia aim to offer the best set of member benefits.

A package price of £125 includes access to the conference and events as well as one night’s accommodation.
