Carnival Cruise Line has recruited Danielle Kerton from Thomas Cook.
Kerton held a string of positions during her six years at the multiple, but her most recent was contact centre training expert.
She joined Carnival as its account manager for international sales on October 11.
Her account portfolio includes Barrhead Travel, Cruise Nation, Travel Counsellors, US Airtours, Cruise.co.uk, Inteletravel, Jetline and Travelbag.
Kerton said: “After spending the last six years selling Carnival and attending its spectacular events, it’s no wonder it was always a goal of mine to work for this wonderful cruise line.”
Carnival’s head of international sales Luke Smith called Kerton “a cruise expert”, adding that she sailed with the line “several times”.
Smith said: “With her passion, in-depth product knowledge and enthusiasm I know she will soon become a firm favourite of our travel agent partners.
“This appointment is further demonstration of our commitment to providing the best service to the invaluable travel agents we work with.”
