Inside Saga Cruises’ new ship Spirit of Adventure

Saga Cruises has given a sneak-peak inside 999-passenger ship Spirit of Adventure.

Artist’s impressions of the line’s vessel, showing a selection of speciality restaurants including Khukuri House, serving traditional Nepalese cuisine, and The Almalfi, the ship’s Italian restaurant.

Cabins will feature three main styles – one calming, echoing the British countryside; one luxurious; and another design reminiscent of sunset scenes.

Passengers will be able to dine at The Almalfi, where the design features include marble, brass-trimmed floor-to-ceiling wine cabinets, a four coloured tiled floor and up-lit screens.

London design agency AD Associates has been appointed to provide the overall design direction for Spirit of Adventure.

New build director David Pickett said Spirit of Adventure and Spirit of Discovery, due to launch in July next year, will have “separate identities”.

He said: “We are delighted to be working with AD Associates, an agency that’s able to interpret and deliver on our commitment to high-quality authentic design and customer service.

“Thanks to her bold and striking interiors, Spirit of Adventure will be a true representation of the best of British innovation and flair.”
