Thomson puts its dancing shoes on with new brochure launches

Thomson is launching a range of dance experiences in its winter 2009/10 second-edition brochure.

The concept, inspired by BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, offers dancing experiences suitable for beginners and professionals. It will be launched at eight hotels across the Mediterranean, where customers will get at least six dance sessions a week with a range of daytime and evening classes.

The brochure is one of four redesigned brochures, which include a range of new properties, resorts and extras.

The operator has also introduced a direct flight to Montenegro, which features in the Italy, Croatia, Montenegro and Corsica first-edition brochure.

The Portugal and Madeira first-edition brochure, part of the A la Carte collection, features the Melia Madeira Mare in Funchal, Madeira. The retreat is set to open for winter 2009.

The operator has added three destinations to its Egypt Year Round. The brochure features the Marsa Matruh resort on the Mediterranean coast, which is also the home of the five-star all-inclusive resorts of the Beach Club Collection’s Jaz Almaza and the Platinum Collection’s Jaz Oriental .

The operator is offering seven nights’ all inclusive at the Jaz Almaza from £549 per person, departing from May 2010, with flights from Gatwick and Manchester.

Thomson head of product, short and mid haul, Alex Loftus said: “The summer and winter programmes see Thomson develop its range of holidays, offering great value for money. With direct flights to Montenegro and Marsa Matruh, as well as a range of properties, our product has been built with the customer in mind.”

The programme went on sale on August 20. Contact: 0871 231 4725 for further information.
