Oasis of the Seas entertainment bookable online

Royal Caribbean International has promised that all entertainment on Oasis of the Seas will remain free even though tickets can now be booked online in advance.

Charly McDonald, in charge of entertainment technical operations, said show schedules will be posted online so passengers can pre-book the shows they want to see up to three months in advance of their cruise.

The booking will be registered on their cruise card, which will be scanned as they enter the venue, but there will be no charge.

McDonald said passengers will also be able to pre-book FlowRider lessons and soft drinks packages, and fill out waiver forms for the FlowRider, rock-climbing wall and ice-skating online to save time on board.

Speaking on a live webcast yesterday, Royal Caribbean International president and chief executive Adam Goldstein said there were just 55 days to go until the cruiseline takes delivery of the ship on October 28.

He said: “The ship is on track, 95% complete and we are finally able to say delivery is ‘next month’.” Goldstein said the ship looks better in reality than he ever imagined, despite five years looking at renderings and pictures.
