Travel Counsellors is inviting agents from outside the company to attend its annual conference in Manchester this December.
For the first time, those interested in finding out about the company can join more than 1,100 attendees, including agents and suppliers, at the annual event being held at the Manchester Central Convention Complex from December 4-6.
Managing director Steve Byrne said: “We hope this will enable these agents to get a real sense of the camaraderie, support and friendship we share with one another at Travel Counsellors.”
Delegates attending the sessions on December 5 will hear from motivational speakers as well as key figures within the company. There will also be a chance for agents from outside the company to speak to existing Travel Counsellors.
A total of 150 suppliers will exhibit at the Pow Wow session, where agents can meet representatives from tourist boards, hotels and airlines.
Travel Counsellors, which now has 1,100 home-based agents worldwide, has reported a sales increase of 25% in the year to October. Agents from Travel Counsellors’ overseas operations in Ireland, the Netherlands, South Africa and Canada will also attend the conference.
For those who cannot attend, the company is hosting an open day at its Bolton head office on December 9.
