Lee Hayhurst and Robin Searle are to join the TWgroup in senior editorial positions.
Hayhurst, currently news editor of travel trade title TTG, has been appointed editor of Travolution, the industry’s leading information source for the online travel sector.
Robin Searle, currently TTG features and supplements editor, has been appointed assistant editor of Travel Weekly.
Announcing these latest appointments, TWgroup chairman Clive Jacobs said: “I am delighted to have recruited Robin Searle and Lee Hayhurst to these key appointments in our expanding group. Robin and Lee are highly-experienced
travel trade journalists and will strengthen further our already talented editorial team.”
TWgroup chief executive Simon Ferguson said: “Robin Searle and Lee Hayhurst are key signings for the TWgroup. Lee will further develop Travolution’s unique brand position, and Robin will add strength to the senior editorial team with his wide knowledge of the sector.”
Both are expected to join TWgroup in December. It has already been announced that Lucy Huxley, editor of TTG, will join Travel Weekly as group editor early in 2010.
