MSC Cruises will add three members to its sales team by March 2020 as it launches three more ships over the next 18 months.
The new sales positions will cover different MSC Cruises projects in the UK – one of the line’s top five markets – and focus on partnerships.
Antonio Paradiso, the line’s UK & Ireland managing director, said areas such as meetings, incentives, conventions, meetings and events and charters would be overseen by the newly-created positions.
Speaking on board MSC Bellissima, the first of three ships launching before 2021, Paradiso said: “The new roles will serve new projects. This is all part of my commitment to the cruise industry.
“I want to break down barriers surrounding the cruise industry and I will do everything to attract new-to-cruise [customers].
“I need more content and to open more channels up. The more people that are talking about cruise, the more people are looking into taking a cruise.
“One of my ideas is to take advantage of the amazing partnerships that we have such as the one with Chelsea Football Club or Cirque du Soleil.”
