ABTA has launched a new video to help travel agents and tour operators understand health and safety issues in resort.
The practical guide provides 10 minutes of training on topics including fire safety, food hygiene, pool safety, safety on the beach, general safety, children’s clubs and play areas, communicable diseases and incident investigation.
Head of destination strategy and services Nicola White said: “It’s a really practical guide. You can use it as part of your own training programme or you can home in on areas your organisation has issues with.
“For agents it’s good practice to understand what is required of hoteliers and suppliers.”
