P&O Ferries has partnered with two French wine warehouses to offer free return crossings between Dover to Calais, so passengers can stock up on cheap alcohol.
The offers apply to day trips and short breaks, and mean Brits can buy wine in bulk at the Calais Wine Superstore or Majestic Wine in Calais.
The ferry operator says bottles of wine are cheaper in France, as they are not subject to UK alcohol tax.
Customers visiting the Calais Wine Superstore must spend at least £250 in the store to qualify for a day return, or at least £500 for a short break.
They can apply online and receive a code with which to book a crossing directly with P&O Ferries.
For Majestic Wine in Calais, customers must order £250 worth of wine online for a day trip, or £350 worth for a 72-hour break, in order to redeem their free crossings.
There are up to 23 sailings a day between Dover and Calais with P&O Ferries, which are 90 minutes long.
