Hotelplan has appointed Jorg Herrmann as chief executive of its Holiday Home Division.
Herrmann will oversee Interhome and Inter Chalet from today and succeeds Thomas Stirnimann, chieif executive of Hotelplan Group, who has been in charge of HHD in an interim capacity for the last one and a half years.
Michael Figlestahler, head of sales and marketing, has been appointed deputy chief executive and Jytte Toft, former deputy chief executive and managing director Inter Chalet, has decided to leave the company with immediate effect.
Peter Kranz, chief information officer, has also chosen to leave the company at the end of June after finalising the joint Interhome and Inter Chalet booking system.
Hotelplan also owns Inghams, Ski Total, Espirit Holidays and Explore in the UK.
Stirnimann said: “We would like to extend to Jytte Toft our most sincere thanks for her over 30 years of service in various roles at Inter Chalet and the HHD. Thanks to her commitment, Inter Chalet and Interhome were able to expand and consolidate their leading position in Germany.
“She has also successfully headed Inter Chalet as managing director for the past six years. We would also like to sincerely thank Peter Kranz for his work as CIO Inter Chalet over the past six years and, above all, for implementing Focus, the key IT project of recent years.
We wish them both all the best in their future endeavours.
