Carnival Cruise Line has held its second Fun Ambassadors meeting in Blackpool, where eight agents discussed how to drive engagement with the brand.
The strategy meeting focused the line’s agent programme – Loyalty Rocks Club – which launched last year.
Agents were also treated to a meal and all-expenses overnight stay at The Big Blue Hotel, near Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
The agents and Carnival Cruise Line staff also spent half a day riding rollercoasters at the iconic amusement park after the strategy meeting finished.
Iain Baillie, Carnival Cruise Line’s UK managing director, said: “The objective was to scope out the next phase of the Loyalty Rocks Club with the Fun Ambassadors fed back new ideas that will forward serve the UK and Ireland travel Industry well.
“Discussions covered different places and outlets to purchase and claim rewards, making claiming even simpler, gamification, ‘recommend a friend’ introduction and educational and fam trips.”
