Shearings Holidays is expanding its presence in the cruise sector by chartering All Leisure Holidays’ mv Discovery for three no-fly cruises to operate in 2011.
The operator’s first fully chartered ocean cruises will offer trips around the Baltic, the Norwegian Fjords and around the UK.
Customers will be offered a free ‘cruise connect’ coach pick up service for all three from various locations around the country.
Shearings Holidays has already been selling All Leisure Group’s Voyages of Discovery cruises for the past year.
Commercial director Caroline Brown said: “By taking an exclusive charter we can tailor the packages and on-board amenities to suit the demands of our customers, including new customers to sea cruising.”
The first Shearings ocean cruise is the Norwegian Fjords Discovery, departing on May 28 2011. Prices start from £869 per person or £779 if booked before 30 June 2010.
Meanwhile, Voyages of Discovery has just launched its full summer 2011 programme, including 15 cruises on the mv Discovery in Northern Europe, the Mediterranean and the Black Sea. These include three no-fly cruises from Portsmouth and six from Harwich.
