TravelMole editor Phil Davies is to join the TWgroup in June.
Davies, a highly respected travel trade journalist and former TTG editor, will help Travel Weekly and Travolution deliver breaking news first and ensure the group’s websites www.travelweekly.co.uk and www.travolution.co.uk are packed with useful information and are constantly updated.
TWgroup group editor Lucy Huxley said: “Phil is one of the most knowledgeable and well-connected travel trade journalists in the country and his appointment marks a significant step towards our ambition to become the leading multi-media brand in our sector.”
Davies added: “I’ve greatly enjoyed my time helping develop the TravelMole brand in the UK. However, the opportunity to join TWgroup at this exciting stage of its development was too good to turn down.”
Davies will maintain other freelance writing and media training work.
