The former HRG head of UK and international operations has been recruited by EFR Travel Group to head its business travel arm WDT Corporate Travel.
Andy McLundie succeeds WDT Corporate Travel founder and former managing director George Glen.
Glen sold the Paisley-based business to EFR Travel last year following his decision to retire. He stayed on to ensure a smooth transition into EFR.
WDT Corporate Travel was established 24 years ago and had a varied client base of industry sectors including shipping, advertising, oil and gas, bioscience, entertainment and IT.
EFR Travel Group founder and CEO Edward Rom said: “EFR Travel is now a significant player in the corporate travel market, with the combination of WDT Corporate Travel with our other corporate travel businesses, CSR Travel and EFR Corporate Travel, positioning us amongst the top 40 corporate travel providers in the UK.
“With Andy on board we are looking forward to developing the business still further and growing our place in the market.”
