P&O TRAVEL managing director Tony Hughes has demanded that KLMdiscloses how it will reward agents who make bookings for its low-cost airline Buzz.
Hughes said 80%of P&O’s business with KLMUKout of Stansted will move to Buzz, which does not pay commission.
Hughes also wants KLMto accept bookings made by agents using their own corporate credit cards.
KLMsales director for the UK Peter Cornwall said: “We have set up clear opportunities for agents to book our low-cost product. Where agreements are already in place, all Buzz bookings will count towards the overall KLM revenue targets.”
He added company credit cards could be used if they are Air Travel Organiser’s Licence registered.
