NCL’s Epic stars on children’s TV

New Norwegian Cruise Line mega-ship Norwegian Epic is appearing on TV this week as part of the line’s tie-in with children’s network Nickelodeon.

TEENNick is broadcasting from the 4,200-passenger ship between 5pm–7pm on channels SKY 604, Virgin 712 and Talk Talk 315 until Friday.

Filming for the show took place on the vessel’s UK inaugural cruise from Southampton in June.

The ship was then christened in New York and has now begun its programme of alternating Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries from Miami.

Presenters Olly and Nathan go behind-the-scenes, meeting members of the Blue Man Group and trying their hand at the Cirque Dreams and Dinner acrobatic experience.

The cruise line’s partnership with Nickelodeon sees selected ships featuring themed entertainment, including character breakfasts, meet and greets with popular characters and themed dance parties.

Nickelodeon regulars SpongeBob Squarepants, Patrick, Dora the Explorer and Diego appear on Norwegian Epic.
