MORE than 3,500 children have used the supervised creche on Stena Line’s roll-on, roll-off ferry, Koningin Beatrix, since it opened in April. Some 2,000 passed through the facility in July and August, when extra staff had to be taken on to cope with the numbers. The creche, which was being trialled, is now planned to continue. It is for two to eight-year olds and costs £2.50 an hour per child.
